[mythtv-users] Scheduling a Transcoding job on the queue?

Howdy all,

I'm looking for a way to gain control over when my transcoding
jobs run.

Almost all recording and viewing occurs between 5PM and
midnight, leaving 17 hours in the day when the backend is largely
idle. I'd like to run my transcoding jobs in that window, but allow
real-time commflagging and low-impact mythlink.pl jobs to run at any
time.

Looking at the jobqueue table, I notice that it has a "starttime"
field...is this when the job is scheduled to start? Would it be
possible to write a wrapper for the transcoding script would
schedule the job at a point in the future inside that time window?
