I dont have my H24's setup on my network. I've though about doing that,
but didnt want to hear it from my wife about spending the money on a
serial card, Null-Modem Cables and USB-Serial adapters!

On my server it's serial ports not ttyUSB* so that is not a worry for
me.

I was able to get it working. as John said I needed to have the
USB-Serial adapters plugged in when I started up the boxes. I restarted
them and it worked fine!
