[mythtv-users] opengl menu GPU usage

Hi folks-
I use blootube-wide for a menu theme.  I've been observing my power 
consumption of my frontend/backend and I've noticed that it draws about 
24 more watts in the menu screens than while actually playing any 
video.  Looking into it I realized that it's due to the GPU utilization; 
both GPU memory and GPU are pretty much pegged (GeForce 9400 GT 512MB) 
when in the GL menu screens.  Playing video, it's typically 10-40% 
consumed.  (using the nvidia-smi (-a -l) utility to monitor this)
Is this expected, or should I be looking for a misconfiguration.  Would 
be interested in hearing what others observe.
