So far as I know, this is only a display issue. Ever since I started
using MythV (0.21, I think), the program listing page in mythweb has
always shown episodes that have been deleted with allow re-record as
having been recorded. These episodes are outlined in the listings
exactly the same as episodes that have been watched and then deleted.
So far as I know, I haven't had any problems with the scheduler not
re-recording them.

I have seen cases where previously recorded and deleted episodes won't
re-record even if I hit "Forget Old" on the recording rule page in
mythweb. As I recall, the status remains "This showing was recorded"
and the scheduler doesn't try to re-record. I don't know what it takes
to get into this state. I just tried to reproduce this problem but
things seemed to work correctly. The episode does still display in
mythweb as being previously recorded even after I did the "Forget Old",
and the "Forget Old" option is still displayed.
