I've seen this too .. I'm using DVB-S in the UK and all my BBC radio
recordings have started to show this.
I can't confirm exactly when it's started .. or indeed if it's fixed yet, as
I'm not updating my system that often.

As a complete aside .. I have 2 frontends, one an Acer Revo using HDMI to
feed my 16:9 TV and the second a ZOTAC ION board using a VGA connection to a
standard 4:3 PC monitor. The 'PC monitor' system seems to attempt to display
some kind of BBC 'Screensaver' while I'm listening to a radio recording
(it's very flickery and keeps disappearing, but it is possible to see a BBC
icon and some text relating to the show), while the HDMI system simply shows
a complately blank screen. Both systems display video absolutely fine. Any
ideas anyone?

George
