The list is logged and available elsewhere, just because your client
doesn't do email correctly doesn't mean that everyone else should need
to suffer.

This is going to be darn near impossible, as far as I'm aware all the
changers blast the channel and not button presses or anything. You
could in theory set something to play on demand then record channel 01
or whatever it is. I'm wondering why you even need to record on
demand, if you are recording things when they air then you have them
ready to go. If you want to use on demand you can still do so without
recording it, kinda the point of it isn't it?

The point is being able to watch the VOD content on any TV in the house, using only ONE STB.
