Which means there is no purpose to putting backwards compatibility into 
the protocol until the database is embedded into the master backend, and 
the protocol is expanded to include any possible query that MythTV may 
need to make.  That is a huge undertaking, especially for a capability 
that isn't going to be used by most people.
