[mythtv-users] There a way to ignore previously recorded history?

Hi...

Yes, I don't like picking up stuff I have already seen.

But, for the classics, I don't mind it.  In fact I would prefer mythtv 
to completely ignore any history of previously recorded programs.

So, is that what the "Duplicate Check method" option is all about?  If I 
set this to "none" will mythtv start recording all the shows?  What 
about the "Check for duplicates in" setting?  There is no "none" for 
that feature.
