I am trying this out with variable results.

One oddity I noticed was when the script generated

silence-detect has generated cutlist:
1--25,16790-18862,34119-42780,57452-60059,70464-77044,
silence-detect(): CHANID=1006, STARTTIME=2011-02-02 01:49:00, FRAMES=77044
silect_detect() set CUTLIST to INSERT INTO recordedmarkup
(chanid,starttime,mark,type) VALUES (1006,'2011-02-02 01:49:00',1,4);
INSERT INTO recordedmarkup (chanid,starttime,mark,type) VALUES
(1006,'2011-02-02 01:49:00',-25,5);

This produced a programme that when played jumped over all the start of
the programme to the beginning of part 2.

It seems the 1--25 is still in the latest version from the wiki.
