Is the problem with both sides of the card on just one? If both, it's
unlikely to be a hardware fault, if just one that's a possibility.

Have you tried it under Windows?

Both inputs are affected.
I have not tried it under windows but this card was working fine a few days ago before I rebuilt my backend.

I really don't think it is the hardware, but I have tried everything I can find online. 
If this has been addressed here before, please point me to where these archives are, as this is the first time I have posted anything to this list!!
