Except, when off, it can no longer provide DHCP, NAS, backup, or any
other network services (maybe you'd like to connect to your home
network from work or when traveling). If you use your combined
MythBE+FE for nothing else other than Myth, then sleeping makes
sense... but if you need something on 24/7 anyway, you might as well
make it a low-power device and you might as well run your MythBE on
it: that, by far, is the best way to save power.
