Nope. That's what my Harmony 600 can do. It "knows" which devices are in which 
state, and sends appropriate On or Off codes to set things up the way I want 
them, plus input selects to the TV. So, it's a single button press to start up 
myth and activate the TV, selecting the appropriate input; if I want to watch a 
DVD it's two button presses, one to select the activity menu, one to select the 
DVD input and power up the player, at the same time powering off the myth front 
end. Cable, the same. DVB-T through the TV, the same. At the end, a single 
button to switch off whatever was on the last time I selected anything.
