[mythtv-users] Do I need a front end at all?

Hi.

In general I try to minimise number of boxes...

I have a Samsung D8005 SMART TV. I am pretty confident that it can
decode HD MPEG4 streams, so I wonder do I need a front end at all?

It is a quite capable TV, so I wonder do I need a front end at all?

Are there anyone having tried out using a moderne Samsung SmartTV as a
MythTV front end?
