has anything on your internet connectivity changed? i've had it in the
past where my ISP has been down, and myth will be exceptionally slow
in certain menu locations (0.24.1, mythbuntu theme). I/We put it down
to DNS.
not sure why this was such a big issue for the mythbuntu OS, but it
also affected SSH login and a few other things too.
