Has anyone got this to work? I'm on 0.24 here and via the 'edit keys'
function of the frontend i can assign e.g. Ctrl+Shift+E to the program
guide, the edit keys function detects this key press just fine, but
the frontend doesn't actually do anything when you press this after
saving the change. Restarting has no effect either.

Assuming this is still broken, does anyone know how to remap key
presses in X, such that ctrl+shift+e could be mapped to say e, and
then in myth i would assign e to the program guide?

The last myth box i had I actually had to install lirc and a dummy
lirc driver that just trapped regular linux key presses, mapped the
key press to a remote control press in lirc, then map that button in
the .lirc config file, and finally setup a key binding for it in
mythv, so many layers of mapping! It seems it should be possible now
for it to 'just work' as 'edit keys' can detect and bind the key
combination.

Thanks,
Dan.
