The best (and supported) approach is for you to put the shows into
MythVideo. And, with MythVideo's support for TV series as well as
movies and it's metadata support, you can get all the metadata that you
would have had from the recording (and more) "back".
Then, you can set up MythTV to re-record the episodes if you want them
in Watch Recordings (chances are, they aren't blocked from recording if
you restored a backup from before they were recorded, but you will need
to ensure you still have a recording rule that would capture them). Or,
if you're a collector or just want to have the whole season in the same
place so you're sure you watch them in order, you can move the rest of
the series to MythVideo, too.
