FWIW, I bought an Eee Box 1012P today and 1GB RAM and a 320 GB hard drive. I installed Fedora 15 on it and it seems to run it quite well. Its not a speed demon, but its pretty good. I suspect more RAM and a SSD would help. I love the form factor and its nearly silent. I'll update this thread when I have more experience with it.
