CBC TV has been given a reprieve on some of their analog transmitters, details to be seen here:

In summary, CBC TV will be allowed to continue to run some of their analog rebroadcasting sites for one additional year. This doesn't change much for anyone living in a major Canadian city (the French transmitters in Halifax and Calgary plus the English transmitter in Quebec City being quasi-exceptions). As per plan most analog TV is to die in Canada as of end of August...
