In several discussions around here recently, I mentioned that I had a
script I use to automatically run a scan on my hdhomerun and update
the channels in myth accordingly. Several people asked me to share the
script, so this weekend I cleaned it up a bit (ok, more like rewrote
extensively) to be a little more user friendly and customizable.
I've got the script on my website at the link below. Please read the
description there, including the limitations of what it can and can't
do currently. And also the warning about backing up your database
first (so far it's only been tested on my system, so it'd be a really
good idea to be safe).

Use the --help flag to get info about available options. Let me know
what you think. Is this helpful? Does it have any issues with the
channel lineup for your cable provider? Ideas/suggestions for
improvements? Anything unclear?
