Anyone who wants them can have them and benefit from them
without me getting involved in the two-way frustrations of tickets.
Most of my patches are to fix things like "make the arrow keys work again,
like they used to back in 0.22 (or was it 0.21?)", and tweaks to increase
the WAF of the Mythbuntu theme. These might even mess up things when
other themes are used, and I don't have much interest in testing against
other themes.

Mark Kendall will backport that specific fix (above) properly when he can.
In the meanwhile, I'm just offering my own backport for earlier testing,
if anyone wants it. I don't know the code like Mark Kendall does,
so he's a better choice for the permanent fix.
The other backports to make mythplayer use exactly the correct number
of buffers (removing the need for vdpaubuffersize=nn) would be of general
interest, I think. I'm hoping that Mark Kendall might also backport those
to 0.24-fixes. In the meanwhile, my own backport works for me, and is
available to others. I don't think I have "commit access" for 0.24-fixes.
cheers
