Thanks, that clue was very helpful. In MythDora, I opened Add/Remove
Programs (actually the Package Manager) and enabled the repository
titled, "MythDora 12 testing (X86_64)". When I opened Software Update,
it offered to update me to MythDora 0.24-6 (from 0.24-2), which I did,
and now all is OK. It even fixed another problem I was having (with it
not erasing a DVD-RW disk before burning).

I could have enabled the "MythDora 12 testing (X86_64)" repository
during the original installation of MythDora 12.23, but I figured that
repo was for bleeding edge testing, not for the latest releases. Oh
well, live and learn.

The DVD installation instructions on the MythDora web site say, "You
should choose to enable mythdora-updates repo in the 'Extra Software
Repository' section of the customize screen." But that repository is
enabled by default in the installation package while the testing
repository is not. No mention is made of the testing repository in the
DVD installation instructions, and I can find none in the MythDora forum.

I will mention how useful enabling the testing repository was to
MythDora's authors.
