I have been running 2 HDHRs (with no multi-rec) forever with no
issues, yesterday I decided to do a bunch of cleanup/reorganizing, so
I deleted all my tuners and re-added them. When I first added the 2
HDHRs, I set them up with multi-rec (2 streams per tuner, for a total
of 8) but when I start the backend, I get these errors in the backend:
2011-04-18 16:06:03.875 MainServer: HandleRemoteEncoder(cmd GET_STATE)
Unknown encoder: 3
2011-04-18 16:06:03.906 MainServer: HandleRemoteEncoder(cmd GET_STATE)
Unknown encoder: 4
2011-04-18 16:06:03.939 MainServer: HandleRemoteEncoder(cmd GET_STATE)
Unknown encoder: 5
2011-04-18 16:06:03.973 MainServer: HandleRemoteEncoder(cmd GET_STATE)
Unknown encoder: 6
2011-04-18 16:06:04.006 MainServer: HandleRemoteEncoder(cmd GET_STATE)
Unknown encoder: 7
2011-04-18 16:06:04.040 MainServer: HandleRemoteEncoder(cmd GET_STATE)
Unknown encoder: 8
and only the first tuner (x 2) gets used at all. If I delete them all
and add them back with single streams for a total of 4 tuners,
everything works perfectly. I am using a relatively new version of
trunk running on FC13:
mythbackend --version
