This wouldn't speed things up...  We currently need to scan 8 minutes of 
video to find the logo.  A few seconds per channel change is much 
faster.  :)

Yeah.  Best bet is to wait and see what the new channel editor can do.  
Then, if people want to submit enhancements, they can be considered.  :)
