Oh, I'm not much of an expert so when you said

I thought it meant there was some fix in there.

What other information is needed and where do I need to send it? I've already
replied to this thread with the options used to define my transcoder profile,
what the audio problems are, and provided the mythbackend command line output
from when there was a problem. Is more information needed, or do I need to be
submitting this to a bug report or something? Which logs are needed?

For a fix to appear, it needs to be fixed first.
For a fix to be found, the problem has to be able to be reproduced by
a dev. This is done by people providing samples, arguments on how
mythtranscode is called and logs.
So far I'm yet to read anything that could be helpful in any ways.
It's always : it doesn't work. It's messed up. I'm using mythtranscode
default etc etc...
While this is the case, no fix will be worked on.
