[mythtv-users] encoding for Samsung Galaxy S i9000

Greets, I just installed pdatranscode.pl

to be able to transcode video for my shiny new Samsung Galaxy S i9000

It works so far, but the quality could be better.

Currently it uses:

mencoder -ofps 30 -ovc lavc -lavcopts
vcodec=mpeg4:vbitrate=300:vhq:vpass=1 -vf scale=800:480 -oac lavc
-lavcopts acodec=ac3:abitrate=128 -ffourcc DX50 -o
/tank/pda/The_Center-09-20--0236.avi /mnt/myth1/14111_20100920023600.mpg
-quiet

Does anyone have a good recommendation for this specific smartphone?

Which encoding to use, what resolution to choose?
