Thanks, Bill.

I tried that:
root at gaia:/# locate mythshutdown
/usr/bin/mythshutdown
root at gaia:/# locate libmythdb-0
/usr/lib/libmythdb-0.23.1.so.0
/usr/lib/libmythdb-0.23.1.so.0.23
/usr/lib/libmythdb-0.23.1.so.0.23.1
root at gaia:/usr/lib# ls -l libmythdb*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 26 2010-10-20 08:21 libmythdb-0.23.1.so.0 ->
libmythdb-0.23.1.so.0.23.1
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 26 2010-10-20 08:21 libmythdb-0.23.1.so.0.23
-> libmythdb-0.23.1.so.0.23.1
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 736688 2010-10-19 02:13 libmythdb-0.23.1.so.0.23.1
So it seems that there is just one copy of mythshutdown and one version
of libmythdb-0, right?
Can I somehow get more information out of mythshutdown to see what might
be wrong?
Thanks!
