I read through the 0.24 release notes. Under MythVideo, it says MTD has been removed. Under mythshutdown, it says check the status of MTD to ensure a shutdown does not interrupt a rip/transcode in progress. I imagine the second note should just be removed since MTD is gone, but I'll let someone else make that decision. :-) /Brian/
