Perusing Wild Blue's forums, it seems that the "FAP" (Fair Access Policy) is number one on the complaint list.

Hardy surprising, but I don't know enough about their financials and available infrastructure to have a valid opinion as to 
whether they are going overboard on greed or just being prudent.

But we're way OT here, except that pretty much all MythTV users need to have some sort of internet service, so a 
discussion of the alternatives is a little bit topical.
