An addition that might be relevant. When I switch to the tuner which
gets no lock (hitting "y"), mythbackend gives a warning:

,----
| 2010-10-15 23:36:48.322 TVRec(2): Changing from None to WatchingLiveTV
| 2010-10-15 23:36:48.368 TVRec(2): HW Tuner: 2->2

`----

"MarkAsInUse" looks suspicious. Is it possible that Mythtv somehow
thinks that the tuner is already in use?

BTW, I noticed that no mpg files are created by the second tuner, but
this might be a secondary effect.

I'm quite desparated. I have lots of recordings planned that depend on
two working tuners. If the problem continues, half of the recordings
will fail. Could it be a solution if I buy another DVB-T stick of the
same type as one of the others and use two identical sticks instead of
two different ones?

Thanks for help

Sven
