Please try/check two things:

1.  Make sure you have nouveau blacklisted and you are not using
modesetting.  Add "rdblacklist=nouveau nomodeset" to your kernel parameters.

2.  Add vmalloc=XXXm to your kernel parameters, i.e. "vmalloc=256M".  I
believe you want it to be at least 192M if not more.
