Someone is planning to try this route. Its not my preferred option, as 
it loads another (carefully deleted) 800 channels back in to the 
database...Perhaps a transponder scan will reduce the amount of inserted 
channels. I assume that if they re-engineered the channels in a 
non-compliant fashion most set-top boxes would fail too. We did not get 
notified by the provider of any changes.
