[mythtv-users] 0.24 trunk 26592 Opening DVB frontend device failed error

The last couple of weeks (ever since I upgraded to trunk) I have been
having some problems. I currently run 0.24 trunk 26592. I have a MBE
w/ a FE, a SBE w/o a FE, and a standalone FE. About once per day my
MBE has an error opening a DVB device. When this happens the MBE
lockups up. I try to stop the MBE with sudo service mythtv-backend
stop. Once I try the service stop command there is still a hung
mythbackend process. I must kill the mythbackend process before
restarting the MBE. Of course playback on any FE stops. The SBE seems
to continue any recordings it has started. I generally catch it rather
quickly so I do not know if the SBE would fail after some time.

I am also getting errors like this: Timed out waiting for free video
buffers. They appear anytime either BE is recording and seem to be
identical to ticket: http://svn.mythtv.org/trac/ticket/8854. That
ticket is marked for milestone 0.25.

This log snippet shows a recording is trying to start on channel 4_1
which is my NBC affiliate and should start recording Sunday Night
Football.

Any ideas appreciated.
