[mythtv-users] Transcoding SD MPEG2 to H.264---recommendations?

I use handbrake all the time through the handbrake gui on linux with no
issues. I use highprofile with small sudio and subtitle tweaks and a change
of container to matroska.

Converting a dvd iso to h264 runs at about twice realtime on a quadcore
q6600

I havent tried the commandline, why dont you try the gui and report back.
