I watch livetv quite a bit and I have not experienced this.

I do get dropped out of livetv quite a bit if I seek back and forth -
but it is mostly with hdpvr channels.  When tuned to an hdhr channel,
it is more stable (or so it seems - well in general, h264 material is
less reliably played back - livetv or recordings).  I must admit I do
not seek much in livetv though - I use it mainly for "background
noise" while I work.

I see this too.  I have not said anything because:

a.  LiveTV is known to not be cared about
b.  I have not had it completely kill mythfrontend like it used to  :)
