I wondered about that, but "DRM" is not a term I've seen applied to the 
"protected path", which I think just means there is no place for the 
user to get a handle on the baseband video sans HDCP.


As for what "other content protection schemes" might mean, that's 
anyone's guess, and I suspect the person who wrote it doesn't know 
either :-)
