Unfortunately, one must be careful with TV settings, they don't just affect color handling.

For example if my Dell monitor sees anything on any input that is not RGB color space, (Y pr pv, component, composite, SVideo
etc), it adds over-scan to the image. Even when 1 to 1 mapping is selected. I had to force my PS3 output mode to RGB over HDMI
to get rid of over-scan.

I have heard of another case where naming the input anything but "PC" would disable the SPDIF pass through output on the TV
(Samsung).
