[mythtv-users] Rebuilddatabase and find orphans scripts / functions.

As I am always "improving" my mythtv setup, I used to periodically use 
the find orphans and rebuild database to either get rid of dead files, 
or reinsert files into the database if I wanted to keep them.

Seen a few posts saying that these scripts are now deprecated because of 
myth changes, and the possibility that their functions may end up being 
core mythtv functions.

Anybody got any news on this ?
