Neil,
What you are trying to do will not work. There were far too many
changes to the core Netvision plugin and Mythtv python bindings. If you
do anymore to your 0.23 environment it will become very unstable.
Far better to bite the bullet and upgrade to 0.24 than to try what you
described.
