repositories for Ubuntu, Fedora, or SuSe Linux. Mysql-query-browser appears to be in at least the first two of those. OTOH, MySQL does provide pre-compiled binaries for all three system. I tend to stick with standard repositories when I can. If all you want to do is look at table contents I doubt if it matters which you use. Bill Bogstad
