[mythtv-users] Problem adding slave backend "Error, invalid string list" 0.23+fixes24710

Hi all,

  I am attempting to add a second backend to my Myth setup. My MBE is
Ubuntu 9.10 (amd64) with 0.23 from JYA's repo. Myth was updated this
morning to 24710, but the problem existed with the former version
24542 as well.

The backend I am attempting to add is Mythbuntu 10.04 (amd64) also
running JYA's repo with the same version as the MBE.

The error I am seeing in the slave BE log is:
writeStringList: Error, invalid string list.

I have recently removed all capture cards and video sources. I added
my cards and video sources in the order I wanted so that Clear-QAM
channels would be preferred over analog. (The reason I did that was
Charter moved my Clear-QAM stations around and my recording rules were
record at any time on this channel. I searched around and found Mike
Dean's emails on how to set it correctly.) The MBE has been working
fine. Once that was done I tried to add the SBE.

So far my Googling has found no solution.
