[mythtv-users] Newbie questions about the python bindings for MythTV

I'm looking at http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/Python_bindings
It says under requirements: Python 2.5 (2.6+ preferred)

Does this mean it will work for Python 3.1?
I ask because the book I bought for learning python is pushing 3.x, but points out that 3.x is incompatible with most 2.6 code.

What is the name of the .py file I need to import to access these bindings? is it included by default in the MythTV packages?
