[mythtv-users] Unable to play iso, not using Video storage group (as far as I can tell)

Hello.

I've just set up a new mythtv install on a machine with no optical drives.

When I try to play an iso image of a DVD from the hard drive it fails
with the following output from mythfrontend:

TV: Attempting to change from None to WatchingDVD
libdvdnav: Using dvdnav version svnR1169
libdvdnav: vm: failed to open/read the DVD
Failed to open DVD device at /dev/dvd

I've read elsewhere that this may be caused by the incomplete storage
group implementation not being able to play isos from a storage group.
With that in mind I have used mythtv-setup to delete the entry I had
for the Video storage group, it now just shows (Create Videos group).
There are still other storage groups set up though. Still the same
problem. Note that the iso has played perfectly well on a previous
mythtv install.

The machine is a combined BE/FE. The iso is sitting on the local
harddrive, and its directory is setup in the MythVideo settings.
mythfrontend version: branches/release-0-23-fixes [24158] www.mythtv.org

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks.
