VC-1 is yet another codec, originally developed by Microsloth. It's part of 
the Blu-Ray standard, so you might encounter it with some BR rips, though most 
that I have seen are h264.

I don't have any real tech data on it, but as far as bandwidth I'd assume it's 
close to h264.
