[mythtv-users] configuration file moved?

I did an upgrade in karmic to 0.23, and noticed that now it is looking in
/.mythtv instead of ~/.mythtv for the mysql.txt when the backend is started
by the upstart.  If I start it from the shell, it looks in the wrong place.
Did I do something wrong, or is there a bug in the startup scripts?
