I guess I'm a little confused as to how your comment comes into play
then. If your ripping a 40GB BD and getting a 6GB mkv file then I'm
gunna say that's the right direction but has nothing to do with what
Mr Wilga is concerned with.

If your taking a 300MB file and using that application and getting a
6GB file then the issue looks to be your using the wrong app for the
job.
