Just to add, I did try a precompiled build of trunk with similar issues.

I'm afraid I'm often guilty of that myself, if I have the TV on, and
something set to record comes on I tend to just leave live TV running.
(I'm in the UK, and watch a lot of BBC, so don't find LiveTV to be
annoying.)
