[mythtv-users] External subtitles -> how to get them working?

Hi,

i downloaded a .srt file for inglorious basterds, named it like the movie
and placed it in the same directory:

movie: Inglourious_Basterds.mkv

subtitle: Inglourious_Basterds.srt

also tried: Inglourious_Basterds.mkv.srt

While watching the movie i tried to activate the subtitle via the
togglesubtitle command, it says "on" in the upper left corner, but nothing
is displayed.

What did i wrong? The .srt file seems ok.
