[mythtv-users] Lucid Mysql Upgrade Problem

I upgraded from Karmic to Lucid changing nothing in my mythtv setup, and 
nothing I know of in mysql (I rejected a new config file).

Mysql seems to be running ok, I can connect via mythtv/mythtv/mythconverg.

However, when mythbackend runs it gets caught at

QMYSQL: Unable to connect
Database error was:
Access denied for user 'mythtv'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

I haven't tried changing the password yet, but why should I have to?
