I didn't see the page before it was deleted, but there can be many
reasons for wanting to do it other than piracy.  I have an apartment
in the city that it would be quite nice to have my recordings
available at.  At the moment I have a user job to compress them down
into a small h.264 file and upload them to my PC in the apartment.
Would love to be able to use Myth functionality, rather than using VLC
to play them back.

I don't think my use case is piracy, and I certainly wouldn't share
the recordings with anyone.
