Thanks, I am looking at this WinTV-HVR-1950.
This contains a TV tuner. Which is fine.
I don't really need a tuner.

So I found the USB-Live2 at the Hauppauge site.
"USB-Live2: a USB based video capture device ..."
This is closer to what I was looking for.

Does this USB-Live2 work with MythTV?
(Using the pvrusb2 driver??)

I have one of the HVR-1950 and you can use the tuner
to capture straight analog data from another device.
You can also use the svideo or composite inputs in myth.

I have no idea if the USB-Live2 is supported by pvrusb2

Aside from doing its setup and configuration in Myth,
did you have to do anything else for the HVR-1950
to get it to work in Myth?
